The first phase of Riverina Water’s innovative new software system is live and ready to make life easier for you.
Plumbers, builders and developers can now complete a range of applications and forms online, streamlining the process and reducing administration time.
“Currently, applications from plumbers and developers come via email or post,” Riverina Water Director Corporate Services Emily Tonacia said.
“This new online portal means they can complete all their applications in one place on any device, keep track and see the status of the applications, receive email updates and pay online.
“Importantly, this is just a sample of a significant change we are making with our new software system.”
The online application portal is part of a $2.7M investment by Riverina Water to create a customer-centric service. The exciting project cited as one of the reasons Riverina Water was awarded the best local government water or sewerage provider for 2021-22.
“The next leap, coming in July, will be our new finance and billing system, while internally we also be rolling out a new HR system and asset management platform,” Ms Tonacia said.
“We will be equipped with industry-leading software to serve our community and customers in the most efficient and effective way.
“In following stages, we will be able to offer all of our services digitally in a customer portal, which will complement our existing customer services.”
The launch of the application portal comes after almost 6 months of work on the project.
