Chair and Deputy Chair re-elected to lead Board

Riverina Water’s Board have unanimously re-elected Tim Koschel as Chairperson and Doug Meyer as Deputy Chairperson.

The incumbents both stood for re-election unopposed and will continue to serve as the heads of Riverina Water’s Board in 2024.

The Chair and Deputy both expressed their eagerness to continue Riverina Water’s proven record of safe and reliable water supply at the lowest sustainable cost for community.

Riverina Water Chief Executive Officer Andrew Crakanthorp conveyed his congratulations to the Chair and Deputy and looks forward to continuing his work with the Board to deliver key projects and initiatives for the benefit of community.

The Chair and Deputy will serve in their roles until the NSW Government’s Local Government elections later this year, in September 2024.

Riverina Water County Council is constituted under the Local Government Act and governed by a body of nine Councillors from across the supply area. The Board consists of five elected members from Wagga Wagga City Council, one from Lockhart Shire Council, one from Federation Council and two from Greater Hume Council.
